Mr. Kirby is a top-performing Attorney with extensive experience in Consumer Finance law. A native New Yorker, Mr. Kirby is a 1983 graduate of Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY with a BA in Philosophy and Political Science. Richard earned his JD in 1986 from St. John’s University School of Law in Queens, NY.
As a Partner of O’Reilly, Marsh and Corteselli P.C., Mr. Kirby practiced in the New York City metropolitan area for 20 years and has a long-term proven record of success pursuing clients’ rights in consumer collection, mortgage lending and foreclosure issues, landlord tenant cases, personal bankruptcy, wrongful death, along with workers’ compensation issues as trial attorney for the New York State Insurance Fund.
In addition, Mr. Kirby litigates on behalf of individuals in the United States Tax Court, zealously representing taxpayers against the IRS with outstanding results for individual taxpayers.
